Review Application for Beach Break Live

North Cornwall District Council have received an application from St Minver Highlands Parish Council for a review of the licence of the Beach Break Live festival. The event which was held at Polzeath in June generated over 130 complaints from local residents and businesses, mainly about noise disturbances. Please use this link for more information.

NCDC win health and safety management award.

North Cornwall District Council has become the first authority in the Country to be awarded the British Standard for occupational health and safety management for the whole organisation. Please read the press release for information.

Telephone Survey

From April 2009 you will be served by a new Unitary Authority for Cornwall and so your District and County Councils together would like to give you the chance to tell us your thoughts about accessing council services via the telephone. You can complete the survey by using this link.

Contacting Customer Services by telephone

At present there is a very high demand for our housing benefit, council tax benefit and council tax departments and we know that customers are having difficulty getting through to us on the phone.  Our busiest day is Monday and our busiest time daily is 12 pm to 1 pm.  Our quieter times are in the afternoons mid-week.  So, if you are able, please ring in our quieter times to save having to hang on and be charged for a longer call.
